Concluding our JBGB Jazz Singers 2022 series it’s a welcome, for her debut Piano Smithfield performance, to Francesca Confortini
Combining her love of the great American songbook with the Gypsy jazz tradition and the repertoire they share, Francesca performs an upbeat, swinging set of jazz standards made famous by artists such as Nat King Cole and Django Reinhardt.
From “How High the Moon” to “It Had To Be You” audiences can expect a joyful and swinging set by Francesca and her band.
Born in Milan, Francesca has been living and working in London for many years. She has a degree in Popular Music Performance and has been studying for a Masters in Jazz Studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Singing, performing and playing the piano, she observes that “music plays a huge role in my life”. ...
