There is and never will be anyone quite like Jazz Room originator Paul Murphy.
The word legend is used far too often in this day and age, but in Paul’s case it’s nigh-on impossible to avoid and is more than appropriate.
As Mark 'Snowboy' Cotgrove penned 10 years ago in From Jazz Funk & Fusion To Acid Jazz, "There was no one on the Jazz Dance scene before like him and hasn’t been since."
Paul not only plays his usual bag of fresh vinyl jazz goodness, but brings a reel-to-reel deck featuring unissued re-masters and edits he's accrued over the years....
