This new lineup has been working together for the last year, having just finished recording a new album "Beyond Bahula" which was released in June 2024. It consists of 8 original tracks written by Clare and Claude. Spanning influences from Abdullah Ibrahim and Julian Bahulah to Ornette Coleman and beyond, the band is high energy and the township grooves will have the audience jumping to their feet.

Between them they have worked for a wide variety of musicians including Carla Bley, Andy Shepherd, Brotherhood of Breath, David Bowie,Courtney Pine and Pharaoh Sanders. The music is dizzyingly eclectic incorporating African, Afro-Cuban, Jazz, improvised, soul and funk. A good time to be had by all !
