Music Beyond Compare aims to explore the music of the genius jazz composer Duke Ellington.

Following a year of intensive study of the Duke's music, altoist Tom Harrison aims to bring some of the jazz giant's more obscure music to light, as well as focussing on better known compositions.

Featuring prominently in the group is that veritable one-man band, internationally acclaimed vocalist Cleveland Watkiss, dubbed by the Evening Standard as “The best male vocalist in Britain".
