Nils Økland, who recently performed the New Dimensions project Songs For Wild Horses in the New Forest, makes his Turner Sims debut with his outstanding band. The innovative Norwegian violinist and Hardanger fiddle specialist is creatively expanding the range of the traditional music of his homeland. He describes his own music as a ‘hybrid between the poetry of folk music and the energy of punk.’ Tonight he brings us music from his critically-lauded album Kjølvatn
