This West London-based 13-strong ‘Little Big Band’ is famous for its eight-strong wall of saxes and tight rhythm section, but in its latest incarnation now also features a double bassist, trombonist and trumpeter, which makes for a very different sound. There will be some familiar faces, and some new ones, playing their eclectic repertoire ranging across Jazz and Soul, Ska and Funk, from Dizzy Gillespie to Amy Winehouse, plus a few unexpected additions in between.
