The much in demand jazz vocalist Jo Harrop will be showcasing the songs of the legendary Nina Simone along with the acclaimed pianist Alex Hutton and the noted bassist Jihad Darwish. Nina Simone’s music spanned a broad range of styles ranging from Jazz, Folk, Blues and Classical through to R&B. Gospel and Pop. She went on to record over 40 albums between 1958 and 1974, making her debut with “Little Girl Blue” as well as having a hit single in the US with “I Loves You Porgy”.
