Thomas Enhco invites us to forget the piano as a mechanical instrument and to imagine it as a “magic and malleable substance”. We couldn’t give a better advice: forget the piano, its sharps, its flats, its keyboard, the fingers that graze it – only to focus on the extraordinary and captivating warbling of a young Frenchman who’s innocently becoming one of the most acclaimed jazzmen of our time. This is a solo performance.
