Zoe Francis Trio "remembering Blossom Dearie" Featuring Jim Mullen at Bulls Head Jazz Club

Zoe will be performing songs from her new CD "Remembering Blossom Dearie" with Barry Green, piano, Jim Mullen, guitar and Steve Watts, bass. Blossom Dearie was an acclaimed singer/pianist from East Durham, New York state who performed and recorded many times on her repeat stays in London, recording a live album at Ronnie Scott’s club in 1966. Blossom returned to the US after living in Paris for five years to record several albums for Verve records and collaborated with many composers and musicians including Miles Davis, Michel Legrand, Johnny Mercer. Zoe will be singing some of Blossom's most requested songs, "Peel Me A Grape"," I'm Hip", "My Attorney Bernie", as well as songs by Cy Coleman, and Comden and Green...
