About
One of the finest jazz drummers of all time, Jack DeJohnette cele-brates his 70th birthday in style with a quintet that includes the bril-liant reedsman Don Byron plus Martin Sewell, George Colligan and Jerome Harris. In a career that spans over half a century, he’s been the percussionist of choice for a veritable who’s who of jazz giants - Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Sonny Rollins, Keith Jar-rett, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock - and he himself received a cov-eted Jazz Masters Award earlier this year.
