Meg Morley (piano) and Petra Haller (dance) have established an exciting partnership based on free improvisation and the interplay and interchange between two performing artists of equal standing. Their exhilarating performances give audiences access to free improvisation whilst presenting the historical roots of tap and jazz as Black American art forms.
Haller and Morley began crafting their debut studio album - “Shoulders I Stand On” - in 2022 at Ocean Sound Studios in Norway. The album is available digitally and on CD, with a vinyl release slated for March 2024. Achieving favourable mentions on radio stations and positive reviews (including a four-star rating from "All About Jazz") the album enjoyed a sold-out release party at London's Metronome Cafe....
