Composers Concordance presents a concert benefiting historic Theatre 80 St. Mark's, which faces an uncertain future. Composer-Bassist Dan Cooper, whose compositions have been described as "invigoratingly eclectic to the max" (Strings Magazine) and "full of instrumental virtuosity and the sly humor" (Fanfare) shares the stage with flutist Bart Platteau, pianist Alon Nechushtan, and drummer John Ferrari.

Composer-Guitarist-Rapper Gene Pritsker, described as a “Mischief-maker and cultural blender-in-chief" (Fanfare) and "Intending to make music dangerous again” (Sequenza21) presents his trailblazing group Sound Liberation, featuring soprano Adriana Valdés, poets Erik T. Johnson and Robert C. Ford, trumpeter Franz Hackl, bassist Amanda Ruzza, and drummer David Cossin.

Composer-Violinist Lynn Bechtold, described as "up-and-coming" (TimeOut) and noted for her "virtuosity and technical expertise" (All About Jazz), joins the Dan Cooper Quartet, and performs her original compositions 'Apátrida' and 'Murmur' for violin and electronics.

Composer-Choreographer-Tap Dancer Max Pollak, a Hoofer Award Winner and Bessie Award nominee who was featured recently on a U.S. Postage Stamp, joins Gene Pritsker's Sound Liberation, and performs his original composition 'Power Base.'
