Gadi Lehavi - Piano
Playing by ear from a very early age and experimenting with improvisation drew Gadi Lehavi naturally to jazz. A visit to New-York opened a door to the world. He was discovered by the renowned jazz musician Ravi Coltrane, who invited him to play together at the famous "Village Vanguard" and "Birdland" jazz clubs.
Since then, Gadi Lehavi has been performing in music festivals around the world and already had the privilege of performing and collaborating with some of the greatest musicians of our time. Among them: Ravi Coltrane, Chick Corea, Dave Liebman, Bobby McFerrin, Eli Degibri, Phil Wilson, Kurt Rosenwinkel and Eddie Gomez.
Gadi is a graduate of the "Rimon School of Jazz & Contemporary Music" where he studied with pianist, composer and arranger Rami Levin and with pianist and composer Avi Adrian. He also studied classical piano with Dr. Michal Tal and with Professor Jonathan Zack from the "Buchmann-Mehta School of Music."
Ben Tiberio - Bass
Bassist and composer Ben Tiberio has spent his twenties lending a crucial voice to the upper echelons of New York City’s vibrant jazz scene. Ben was born into a musical household in Rochester, NY, and rose to prominence in Miami during his studies at the Frost School of Music on full scholarship. In 2015, he relocated to NYC and quickly began establishing his reputation as a versatile, forward-thinking sideman. He has now taken his talents across five continents, appearing at many reputable festivals and clubs. Ben’s bass playing has been a fixture in the bands of his generation’s biggest torchbearers: Joel Ross, MarĂa Grand, Veronica Swift and Immanuel Wilkins to name a few. He’s also been called upon by acclaimed leaders like Ari Hoenig, Shai Maestro, Ben Wendel and Aaron Goldberg, and performed alongside an exhaustive list of notable jazz artists including Kenny Barron, Herlin Riley, Gretchen Parlato, Jazzmeia Horn, Will Vinson, Jonathan Blake, Godwin Louis, Fabian Almazan and Terrell Stafford. Ben’s emergence as a formidable bandleader and writer is underway with the preparation of his debut “Rare Peace”. The album features all-original repertoire and will be released September 2021.
