Paris-based jazz vocalist Hetty Kate makes her Shanghai debut this spring, celebrating Jazz in Four Seasons: Vol. 1, the first installment of her ambitious four-album series exploring the changing seasons through jazz. Born in England and raised in Australia, Hetty honed her craft in Melbourne's vibrant jazz scene before joining acclaimed Australian multi-instrumentalist James Morrison's touring bands, including being the featured vocalist for his award-winning symphonic concert 'The A to Z of Jazz' which was performed with eight symphonies worldwide. She has released eleven albums, featured at premier festivals across Europe, Asia, and Australasia, and continues to tour extensively. Now based in Paris, Hetty brings a clarion tone, impeccable timing, and a razor-sharp wit to everything she performs.
