Asher Kurtz is a guitarist, songwriter, producer, and engineer whose work spans recording, touring, and sound design. Asher Kurtz is a guitarist, songwriter, producer, and engineer whose work spans recording, touring, and sound design. David Hawkins is a highly skilled and versatile drummer, composer, producer and bandleader based in NYC. As an up and coming face on the global music scene, he is quickly becoming renowned for his adaptability, creativity, and earnest approach to expression and communication through music. In just a short amount of time, he has become a highly sought-after young voice, in a wide range of genres, exploring and exhibiting the connectedness of them all.
Keita Ogawa, originally from Nagasaki, Japan, is a five-time Grammy nominee and three-time Grammy Award–winning percussionist and drummer. Keita has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists and ensembles including Yo-Yo Ma, Snarky Puppy, the Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra, Cécile McLorin Salvant, Bokanté, and the Boston and Chicago Symphony Orchestras.
Jonathan Maron is a Grammy-nominated electric bassist, composer, and producer best known for his propulsive sound and genre-spanning versatility. A co-founder of New York’s legendary Groove Collective, he toured internationally and released eight albums, including the Grammy-nominated People People Music Music. Maron has performed with artists including Meshell Ndegeocello, Tupac Shakur, India.Arie, Anoushka Shankar, Donny McCaslin, and Kurt Rosenwinkel.
The performance also features Moment Machine, a project that fuses electronics, synthesis, and live performance into a forward-leaning sonic language.
Jason Lindner, on synths and piano, is celebrated for his boundary-pushing work across jazz and experimental music, while Currency Audio brings a distinctive approach to electronic drums, merging precision beats with live improvisation. Together, Moment Machine creates immersive, kinetic sound worlds that blur the line between acoustic and electronic music.
