Jeb Patton - Piano
Since 1998, Jeb Patton has toured throughout the United States and abroad as the pianist with the Heath Brothers and the Jimmy Heath Quartet. He has performed with Etta Jones, George Coleman, Charles McPherson, Winard Harper, Rodney Green, Antonio Hart, the Dizzy Gillespie All Stars, The Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Roberta Gambarini, Peter and Will Anderson, as well as with other top artists.
Jeb’s latest two CDs, Tenthish and Shades and Tones, were released in 2018 and 2016 respectively on the Cellar Live label. Jeb’s is also a published author, educator and professor at Queens College and City College.
Paul Sikivie - Bass
Paul Sikivie is an American jazz double bassist. Originally from Gainesville, Florida, he has lived in New York City since 2007, when he began studies at the Juilliard School. He has played with many artists of international stature, including long associations with Cecile McLorin Salvant, Aaron Diehl, Matt Wilson, Johnny O'Neal, Ted Nash, and Grant Stewart.
Since 2015, Sikivie has turned attention towards composition and arranging. Most notably, he melded string quartet and jazz piano trio for six pieces on McLorin Salvant's Dreams and Daggers, which was awarded the 2018 Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album.
Pete Van Nostrand - Drums
Jason Tiemann is a New York City based jazz drummer, where he maintains a busy schedule as a freelance performer and educator. Admittedly drawing influence from the great(s) Philly Joe Jones, Tony Williams, Elvin Jones and Billy Higgins, Tiemann is quickly forging his musical voice on the New York scene by fusing his depth of historical foundation with crisp technique and propulsive, intuitive swing.
Tiemann is currently on the jazz faculty of the Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the university of Hartford. Additionally, he has been an artist/clinician for the Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshops since 1998. Before moving to NYC, he was an active component of the Midwest Jazz community where he was in constant demand throughout the region as a performer and educator and was afforded the opportunity to accompany numerous jazz luminaries.
Throughout his career, he has performed and/or recorded with an astonishing array of musicians including, but certainly not limited to, Benny Golson, David Liebman, Harold Mabern, Eric Alexander, Mike LeDonne, Peter Bernstein, Slide Hampton and countless others on the New York scene. Jason is an endorsing artist for Yamaha drums, Remo drumheads, and Innovative Percussion sticks, mallets and brushes.
