Arnaud Dolmen & Le Vitygroove at Théâtre du Châtelet

Arnaud Dolmen is one of the most acclaimed drummers on the French jazz scene. In 2017, he released “Tonbé Lévé,” followed in 2022 by “Adjusting,” both of which were critically acclaimed. He was named “Revelation” in 2022 and then “Instrumental Artist of the Year” in 2025 at the Victoires du Jazz awards. Tonight, he will perform original compositions from his new project “VityGroove” alongside a collective of talented musicians from the new generation. On the program: groove, of course, but also trance and electric sounds, in the tradition of Herbie Hancock’s “Head Hunters”!JAM SESSIONSAfter the concerts, the Châtelet will exceptionally open the doors of its sumptuous Nijinsky Foyer to the public, which will be transformed into a jazz club for the occasion… so the party continues every evening with a wild jam session! Arnaud Dolmen est l’un des batteurs les plus plébiscités de la scène jazz française. En 2017, il sort « Tonbé Lévé », suivi en 2022 de « Adjusting », tous deux salués par la critique. Il a été nommé « Révélation » en 2022 puis « Artiste instrumental de l’année » en 2025 aux Victoires du Jazz. Ce soir, ce sont les compositions originales de son nouveau projet « VityGroove » qu’il défendra en compagnie d’un collectif de talents issus de la nouvelle génération.
