Each compositional piece of "Noneto Ibérico" is based on a specific flamenco arrangement style known as "Palo." Each has its own complexities and idiosyncrasies: a specific form, rhythm, harmony and melodic twists—Cuadrado faithfully maintains these guidelines in every movement of his suite, assuring cultural authenticity while drawing on his resources from other musical sensibilities including jazz, world music, and chamber music.
