The Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble has been improvising and innovating on stages around Philadelphia since 1979. To say they are part of the musical fabric of this city is perhaps an understatement.
They remain relevant and original by being unpredictable, creative and fearless. Their latest series which fuses a variety of musical styles with Jazz and sub-genres of Jazz, tells a unique story as only Arpeggio can.
Notoriously, these two icons of Jazz had no love for one another. But what if they shared the same stage? Two of Philadelphia’s hottest young trumpeters, Will Wright and Vince Turnbull will explore this fascinating musical fantasy.
