The talented jazz vibraphonist BEHN GILLECE headlines this season's series' finale. This program "showcases" another outstanding New Jersey jazz artist in our series. Completing his trio for this show is another New Jersey native, organist CHRIS SIMONINI, and veteran Philly drummer, DAN MONAGHAN.

Mr. Gillece's professional career began impressively in 2009 after completing music degrees at NJ's Rowan University and the State University of N.Y. The talented jazz vibraphonist BEHN GILLECE headlines this season's series' finale. This program "showcases" another outstanding New Jersey jazz artist in our series. Completing his trio for this show is another New Jersey native, organist CHRIS SIMONINI, and veteran Philly drummer, DAN MONAGHAN.

Mr. Gillece's professional career began impressively in 2009 after completing music degrees at NJ's Rowan University and the State University of N.Y. It was kick-started by winning both the "Jazz Improvisational Competition" at the Percussion Arts International Convention, and the "Generations Competition" at the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency.

His resume's since grown to include a great deal of performance work in the U.S. and abroad. It includes, among others, prestigious festival appearances in Europe at the North Sea, Montreux and Ghent festivals, and at Canada's Montreal Fest.

Gillece also has a growing number of CDs to his credit, with five already as a leader or co-leader. Many more recordings as a sideman attest to his popularity.
