Towering Poppies is a jazz quintet based in New York City that performs the music of New Zealand saxophonist/composer Jasmine Lovell-Smith. Together, they create evocative and tuneful contemporary music that is carefully crafted yet spontaneous. Towering Poppies are celebrating the release of their album "Fortune Songs," hailed by All About Jazz.com as a "superb debut."
