Jazz Bridge will once again bring back their Summer Concert Series, “Jazz in Hawthorne Park” located in the park at 12th & Catherine Streets, Phila., PA on May 18, June 15, July 20 and Aug. 17 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. These concerts are FREE and lawn chairs, beach chairs, picnic baskets and some friends are welcome to have a great time.

The summer concert series in Hawthorne Park is being presented with the support of the City of Philadelphia Parks and Recreation and via funding from the Fairmount Park Conservancy and Alterra Property Group. Rain dates are a week later - May 25, June 22. July 27, and August 24.

Vocalist, Jeannie Brooks has been a headliner at the Cape May Jazz Festival for many years. She has also performed in New York Philadelphia, and in Europe. No matter whom she shares a stage with Brooks holds the attention of everyone in the room. Jeannie treats her crowds to all sides of her musical personality. Whether it’s Jazz, gospel, funk, or R&B, her voice is the kind that stays with you and haunts your dreams.
