About
Karen Rodriguez was born in Pennsylvania but spent her early childhood in Utuado, Puerto Rico. She was educated in the U.S. and has earned an Associate degree in Music and a Bachelor’s degree in English. Karen is a member of the International Women in Jazz organization and sings in following five languages; English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and French.
Karen and her band have been performing since 2000 and specialize in many Latin styles including Salsa, Cha- Cha, Bolero, Bossa Nova, Mambo, Rumba, Cuban, Latin/Jazz, Guaracha, and Guajira.
