His 2009 album Sunrise On Avenue C won Best Americana Album at the NY Music Awards, and Wake Up And Dream ranked among WFUV’s top albums of 2011. Maddock has released eight solo albums, including No Time to Cry and Little Bird in the Neighbourhood, both written during the pandemic.Maddock’s latest, Night Work (2023), evokes The Eagles and CCR, featuring longtime collaborators and mixed by Dave O’Donnell. He has shared stages with Bruce Springsteen, Pete Seeger, and Levon Helm, and co-written with Mike Scott and Gary Barlow.
