MANDO MIRTH: HOLIDAY CONCERT.
This Philadelphia-based ensemble is comprised of 20 instrumentalists who perform on mandolin, mandola, mandocello, guitar, and Alan Lewine on jazz bass. The groups's repertoire highlights the distinctive sounds and versatile range of the mandolin family of instruments. The concert's program includes sacred and secular holiday music from diverse cultural traditions. Lyric soprano Ana Maria Diaz (http://anamariadiaz.com/) joins the orchestra as guest soloist.
