FRESH GROUND Coffee House is the home of 4th Friday events featuring LIVE music of all genres, this month featuring the RGM Project with some of Philadelphia's finest!

The RGM Project will have you awed by their musicianship, depth and sound! They do it all, and have great roots in the Philly area, being mixed and mastered by SpectraSound Recording. This will be one of our larger ensembles with original lyrics by Bethanne Reid and also as lead singer. This contemporary blues/jazz/funk ensemble formed in 2009 from a collaborative recording project featuring the original compositions and arrangements of Bernie Klemmer, vocal stylings of Bethanne Reid, Saxes/Horn arrangements of Andrew Neu. Bassist Rob Cochran, pianist Fran Danis and drummer Matt Curran complete the rhythm section. Guitarist Mark Walsh joined the band in 2010 and RGM continued recording and began performing live....

In 2011, the band expanded, adding a full horn section (Peter Neu and Chuck Gottesman on trumpets and Brian Pastor on trombone), a B-3 Hammond player, John Fioravanti and guitarist, Bill Washer.

RGM Project continues to work with Multi-Grammy award-winning producer, Phil Nicolo, of Studio 4 where finishing touches are being put on the tracks for RGM Project’s upcoming CD release.
