Richard Barnes’ Blackbird Society Orchestra returns to Tri-State as Philadelphia's premier 1920’s Hot Jazz / Dance Orchestra, dedicated to the preservation of the music of "The Jazz Age" and "The Roaring 20's." The core 13-piece BSO will perform the first set, and an augmented 22-person BSO "Paul Whiteman Tribute Band" will offer rare re-creations of the music of legendary bandleader and “King of Jazz” Paul Whiteman in the second set.
