A special All Hallows Eve performance by The Jazz Doctors
October 2017 marks the centenary of Thelonius Monk, one of the most influential and beloved pianist/composers in the history of jazz.
Pianist and CCP Fellow Joe Camardo (MD) and bassist Justin Fink (PhD) have been delighting jazz fans in Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley for 40 years, and studying Monk even longer!
Join us on All Hallows Eve in Thompson Hall as Jazz Doctors celebrate “Jazz Night at the Mütter Note: A Tribute to Monk,” with master drummer Grant MacAvoy and special guest vocalist, Gary King.
