What do you get when you mix red hot jazz and ice cold brews? The eighth annual Jenkintown Jazz & Brewfest of course. Jazz enthusiasts and beer connoisseurs are invited to this fun event on Saturday, September 8, 2007, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Jenkintown Town Square on Greenwood Avenue and Leedom Street off of Old York Road in Jenkintown, PA.

This year’s jazz fest will feature jazz greats like the Stephanie Nakasion, Tim Warfield Quintet, and Roger Prieto Septet. The Jazz Fest is free and open to the public. And good times are brewing as the Brew Fest showcases premium handcrafted beers

Directions: Jenkintown has frequent rail service to Center City Philadelphia (approximately every 15 minutes). The business district is located on and around Old York Road. We are easily accessed from Cheltenham, Abington, Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill and Northeast Philadelphia. Situated north of Philadelphia on Route 611 (Old York Rd.), Jenkintown is only 25 minutes away from Center City by car or train. The Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rte 276) is 15 Minutes away on Route 611 north. The PA turnpike is also accesible from Route 309, located a scenic 7 minute drive west from Jenkintown.
