The 18th Annual Tony Williams Scholarship Jazz Festival has returned to Pennsylvania at the Ft. Washington Holiday Inn, (formerly the Convention Center) on Labor Day Weekend (Friday, August 29 - Monday, September 1). The Jazz Festival will play host to such luminaries in the jazz world as James Lloyd & Curtis Harmon of Pieces of a Dream; vocalists, Nina Bundy & Barbara Morrison; saxophonists, Larry McKenna, Tim Warfield and Bruce Williams; trumpet sensation, Leon Jordan, Jr.; violinists, Jorg Widmoser & John Blake. This years honorees include renowned jazz radio personality, Bob Perkins and founder of the Mt. Airy Cultural Center, Tony Williams. Special festival guests include Philadelphia’s own Bill Cosby and Grammy Award Winner, Cissy Houston.
