Baritone sax master FRANK BASILE headlines on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10TH. His N.Y. quartet includes special guest trumpeter RICHIE VITALE, and 1st-call jazzmen JARED GOLD, organ, & drummer PETE VAN NOSTRAND.

Although Illinois native Basile has a wealth of big band experience, his mastery of the big horn has led him to frequently showcase the big horn in small group settings & on recordings to pay homage to some of the baritone legends who preceded him in featuring the instrument.

Prominent among them were Harry Carney, Leo Parker, Gerry Mulligan, Cecil Payne & Pepper Adams. Basile, in fact, dedicated a leader CD of his to Adams: "Pepper Adams: Complete Compositions, Vol. 4," a five CD set containing all of Adams' compositions....
