Fresh Cut Orchestra at Painted Bride Art Center

Join the Fresh Cut Orchestra for a concert celebrating the release of their debut CD “From the Vine” complete with pieces commissioned for and performed at the Bride in a sold-out concert back in 2012. The CD, consisting of all original works, includes The Mothers’ Suite (6 movements) (Jason Fraticelli), Uptown Romance (Josh Lawrence), and Sanguine (Anwar Marshall).

Fresh Cut’s core dynamic trio–Josh, Jason, and Anwar–continues to make major inroads within Philadelphia’s music scene and beyond, including a current residency at the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts. Since summer 2013, Fresh Cut has hosted the Bride’s monthly Sunday Jazz series, spreading good vibes and sharing the stage with talented guest musicians for an afternoon of positive creativity and music.
