Now in its 10th year, Jump N Funk is the undisputed original US Afro-Beat Party, synonymous with its champion and co-creator, DJ Rich Medina. Focused around the authentic Afro-Beat movement, Jump N Funk has celebrated the music and philosophies of the legendary Nigerian musician/activist Fela Kuti. JUMP N FUNK LIVE is the next step in the evolution, adding a live jam session to the mix, complete with rhythm section, percussion and horns. The goal? To blur the lines between Live and Vinyl, between DJ and Band, leaving the audience wondering whether they are listening to the record or the jam session...
