Jazz: it’s America’s most famous indigenous musical style. Unlike other musical genres, jazz finds its deep-set roots right here in the United States. It is a style that has truly been cultivated and made in America. We are elated to announce that the Valery Ponomarev Jazz Quintet, a group formed here in the USA, will be performing a multitude of hits based on the American jazz tradition at our next event.

The group was founded by Mr. Valery Ponomarev, a Russian-born trumpeter. After fleeing the Soviet Union in the 1970s, Mr. Ponomarev joined The Jazz Messengers, a world-renowned jazz combo led by the legendary Art Blakey. In 2016, Mr. Ponomarev paid tribute to his mentor and friend in the form of an album, entitled "Our Father Who Art Blakey." The quintet will be performing multiple songs from this album, along with a variety of covers that audience members of all ages will recognize and enjoy. Their set list is filled with songs that are bound to get your feet tapping, so we encourage all audience members to dance along during the performance!...
