About

Guitarist and raconteur Marty Grosz is a legend of the jazz world. He is today's foremost jazz rhythm guitarist and chord soloist. His virtuosity on the guitar, his sometimes-soulful, sometimes-humorous vocals and his dry-wit storytelling make for a memorable and entertaining program. Born in Germany, Marty was brought to America at the age of three and grew up on Long Island. He says he plays acoustic guitar “because amplification makes it too easy.” For this performance,the ”Hot
