A native of Belleville, IL and a graduate of University of the Arts, Michael Pracher, who has also worked extensively as an educator at U of A, University of Pennsylvania and West Chester University, is fiery and intense player who has taken the influences of players like Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins to the next level, both technically and harmonically. He’s played with a bunch of giants as well, such as Pat Martino, the Bad Plus, Stanley Clarke, Joe Lovano and Joshua Redman.
