She leads her quartet the “Najwa Parkins" and the “After Hours Trio.” Parkins is a member of a hosts of bands beginning with the Emmy-nominated “Alex and The Kaleidoscope Band,” “Phil Woods and the Festival Orchestra,” “Hot Bijouxx,” and “Bachelor Boys Band.” She has shared the stage with artists such as Benny Golson and Branford Marsalis.
