In 2016, Laurin Talese released her debut album, Gorgeous Chaos to wide acclaim. The recording was recognized as one of the top 10 albums of 2016 by the Chicago Tribune and was highly ranked on 3 Billboard Jazz charts; It features modern day jazz elite such as Robert Glasper, Christian McBride, Christian Sands, Ulysses Owens, Jr., longtime collaborator Eric Wortham II, and several others. Earlier this year, Talese performed at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards and Art of the Cool Festival in Durham, SC; the vocalist has several upcoming events and projects scheduled throughout the remainder of the year.
