Prism Quartet: Guitar Heroes at Solar Myth

For more than 40 years, the all-sax PRISM Quartet has redefined the artistic boundaries of its medium, with collaborators ranging from PARTCH, So Percussion, Piffaro, The Crossing, Inti-Illimani, and Ethel to leading jazz artists Melissa Aldana, Jason Moran, Susie Ibarra, Arturo O’Farrill, Rudresh Mahanthappa, and Tyshawn Sorey. PRISM has worked across disciplines with several dance companies, stage directors, interactive film makers, poets, and, going back to the 1980s, was the first group to play a consort of electronic wind instruments.
