The Producer’s Guild in collaboration with the Philadelphia Jazz Project and the Free Library’s Music Department presents the Tal Shtuhl Trio in concert.

These three young musicians who grew up in the Hip-Hop Era but shine through in the timeless jazz tradition will perform original music as well as jazz standards. These master composers and skilled arrangers deserve every bit of the wider exposure that they are currently commanding. Tal Shtuhl (saxophone) studied at Temple University and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in Holland. Kevin Daly (drums) also studied music at Temple. Brian Howell (bass) honed his musical skills at the University of the Arts. The music of this dynamic trio is reminiscent of the hot jazz of the 60s and 70s yet is deeply rooted in the triumphs and challenges of 21st Century Jazz....
