About
Cornetist Dave Robinson has performed and toured with the top DC-area traditional and swing bands for over 30 years, including the Storyville Seven, the Sheiks of Dixie, the Sunshine Skiffle Band, the Manassas Festival Jazzers, the Pontchartrain Causeway New Orleans Jazz Band, Doc Scantlin's Imperial Palms Orchestra, and Hal's Bayou Jazz Band. He's gigged with swing-era big names such as Maxine Sullivan, Billy Butterfield, Steve Jordan, Johnny Blowers, and Bob Haggart, and has appeared at the White House, the Capitol, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian, New York's Rainbow Room, Preservation Hall, Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, and Blues Alley.
