About the Roses:
The Philadelphia based Red Rose Jazz Combo highlights the work of women composers and lyricists from the early 20s to today with classic and contemporary interpretations of standard and popular music.

The project is a collective, including Jazz musicians Jean Lenke (vocals), Ana Gonzalez (bass), Suzzette Ortiz (keys & vocals) and Karen Smith (percussion). Other combo players have included Lynn Riley (saxophone), Kayla Jazmin (saxophone), and Monnette Sudler (bass). * Musician inquiries are welcome.
