I'm an arts/culture journalist and insatiable musicologist, specializing in music reviews and blurbs with interviews/bios a close second. Writing about music may be as odd as dancing about architecture, as some wise fellow once put it, but somehow the results are still endlessly fascinating. I contribute to All About Jazz, Elmore Magazine, Philadelphia's That Music Mag and wherever else people are willing to let me ramble. I like to think I've gleaned a little insight from a couple decades of simply drinking in all kinds of music and obsessing over it more than is probably healthy.
