Jazz Studies at Pitt in collaboration with the "Black to the Future: a Festival of Art, Social Justice, and Dreaming" presents avery r. young and de deacon board on Feb. 26th at the Alumni Hall Ballroom. avery r. young will do a talk on his new book at 6:30pm followed by a performance at 7:30pm featuring song selections from his album "Tubman." Free and open to the public.
