Rome, January 27, 2026 โ Pianist and composer Ettore Carucci presents "My Inner Worlds" in concert at Casa del Jazz in Rome on February 15th, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
The album, published by Tosky Records and recorded at Nicola Bulgari's estate in Sarteano, explores the boundary between classical music and jazz through improvisations on harmonies by Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Scriabin, Ponce, and Chick Corea. A dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity where the original harmonic essence is preserved and reinterpreted through the language of improvisation.
The project
"My Inner Worlds" is a solo piano album featuring special guest Giorgio Rosciglione on double bass on the track "Sadness," based on Chopin's Prelude in E minor. Each track becomes an emotional narrative: from "Chasing a Dream," inspired by Debussy's Suite Bergamasque, to "Baroque Reflection" and "Baroque Contemplation" in dialogue with Bach's English Suites, to "My Mentor," a tribute to Chick Corea.
Endorsement
Grammy Award-winning pianist Sullivan Fortner described Carucci's work as a "beautifully reimagination" capable of offering a fresh look at the great classics without betraying the original intent.
