We search through the form of theme and variation—but theme can mean anything. A story overheard in conversation, a book that moved us, the weight of a feeling, the arc of a journey. We take these seeds and let them grow through musical dialogue, each voice responding to and transforming what the other offers. The drums might suggest a landscape while the keys paint the weather.
