The UVW Jazz Orchestra will be performing the latin-jazz masterpiece "CUBAN FIRE" by Johnny Richards. This 7 part composition is scored for 5 trpts, 5 sax, 4 trbns, tuba 2 F-horns, bass, piano, guitar, drum-set, and 5 Latin percussion. Without a doubt, One of the most thrilling compositions ever written for large jazz-ensemble. The UVW had performed this same composition just this passed July 22.
