In his latest album, View With a Room (2022), his second with Blue Note, he proposes 10 original numbers that explore the orchestral possibilities of his instrument, adding to his guitar, bass and drums trio a second guitar played by no less than Bill Frisell, who brings his inimitable sound to this superb album. View With a Room (2002) is one of those albums where you hear something you’d missed with every new listen, details that enhance a work full of inspiration and creativity.
