2014 Michael Haudenschild was a participant at the festivals jazz workshop and won the “sponsorship award for young jazz pianists” at the Langnau Jazz Nights.
With his Trio E:SCAPE the pianist is taking a new direction and is expanding his acoustic spectrum from Piano and Rhodes with electronic effects. He has a playful approach to the conventional trio format. He also expresses this fact with his band’s name E:SCAPE: “E“ stands for electronic.
