Elmer's Jazz Collective at Wivenhoe Congregational Church

A stalwart of the Colchester jazz scene, drummer Elmer van der Hoek has been organising gigs and jams at various venues in the city for more than 15 years, the first 10 years at the Bull and subsequently at Patch, The Minories, the Foresters Arms, and Queen Street Brewhouse.

​Elmer's events always feature top players of local and regional jazz talent and occasionally London-based musicians, so we thought it was time he brought some of them to Wivenhoe!
